So I was wondering, how tolerant are cannabis plants to the heat?

If you have to grow in a high heat area use some kind of silica additive and they will handle it way better. Have to figure though they grow in the Humboldt county and Mendocino county's summers so they can take a little.

My last grow, just completed, Keep the canopy at 90f. The grow room at 85f. Got great pot out of it. If I would of had it any warmer, would of had powder mildew problems from the high humidity and white flies. I hate these things.
Hope that helps.
