I remember when talk of creating the growery started and thinking that was exactly what the shroomery needed as there was always a lot more talk about weed than shrooms it seemed like. At first thought you would have thought a lot more of the mostly stoner types would have made the transition. Thing is though, people get comfortable in certain places and after a time it really doesn't matter what the board is about. People just want to hang with like minded people they are already comfortable with in a place that already feels like home.

Another thing is the shroomery has been around a lot longer accumulating so many members that the pace there is so dramatically faster there and that makes adjusting to the slower pace here even harder.

The Growery has steadily grown though and with weed being a subject with a much larger target audience than shrooms I wouldn't be surprised if one day in the far future it becomes more popular than the shroomery is today. Only time will tell.

it's true that I like the shroomery better just because I'm more familiar with it

but
a lot more people use MJ and only the true psykiidellic alumni stick around after a truly terrifying trip
