She went to the hospital today and have been there all day. Found out she has type 1 diabetes. I feel so bad for her. Life is going to suck from here on out.
Plus her biggest fears are blood and needles. Gonna need to get over that quick.
my mom has diabetes, its not that bad for her anymore as shes gotten used to it. she has this pump thing she wears that gives her the right amount of insulin, so she doesnt have to give herself shots all the time. she does have to take her blood before she eats which is a hassel. im sorry to here this though, hopefully things wont be too bad for her.

People actually go on to lead very productive lives with diabetes man. It might suck at first, but she'll get it worked out man. Life won't suck for her. It's just a big shock to hear something like that at first. I've known quite a few people to be diabetic, one of them a very good friend of mine, and they lead productive, pretty normal lives actually man. Wish the best for her.
it runs in my family and life is not over just different. Once you get a the routine down it is not so bad. I wish you guys the best and hope you both have a good one.
