 Grow tent knowledge share thread!!! how much do you know?

so i have been looking at getting a 3x3. i've viewed a bunch and i got stuck on the secret jardin. mostly because of how they boast a non-toxic environment. they also say that they test these tents for any toxicity as well, deeming them safe for plant growth.
however, the guy at the hydro shop i go to tells me that toxic tents are a thing of the past and that they all are safe for plants in this day n' age. so if thats the case why wouldn't i just buy a $100 3x3 off of ebay or amazon instead of buying a $200 tent from the hydro shop???
also my shop sells Growlab and Hydro Hut silvers... has anyone had any experience with either of these?

I have always favored pressure treated plywood and 2x4's because you can insulate them for temp and sound if done well. The tents I have seen have never had a noticeable odor to them and seemed pretty well built so I don't know what else to say.
 Just my 2 cents

thank you. i think if my living situation was more permanent, like if i owned my house i would most def build my grow room like you do.

Im not even talking a whole growroom, I am talking about a 3 foot deep, 3 foot wide, 6 maybe 7 foot tall box made of plywood and 2x4's. The one I built my friend cost 45 bucks and thats cause we had to buy a big roll of insulation.
