i have a friend who constantly bums weed off me, i love sharing my bud but im thinking this kid is taking advantage of my
generous stoner-ness.
so many times ive smoked him out and most of the time ive bought him food and drink, coz its horrible having dry mouth and munchies and not having anything to eat or drink. and not once has he contributed anything
i told him i just picked up some bud and he instantly suggested we should go and blaze tomorrow, i aksed him whether he would want to give me half the money and smoke it all together and he basicly just refused.
am i being selfish here?

Nope. If you asked for some donation and he refused, then he is taking advantage of you.
I say cut him off.
Or smoke him out, share some salt and vinegar chips, crack a beer, and refuse to give him one.

haha the pain of not being able to quench a weed induced thirst is horrible. esspecially when your a long walk from your house for this reason the i think govnerment need to install water fountains across the country.

I would say since he does not want to help out then never tell him when you got it, and if he asks tell him sorry you do not have any because friends smoked it all up and never return the favor, maybe he will get the hint and go get some to share as well or he will find another source to mooch off of

yeah exactly. If you are always telling him when you get weed, im assuming he is taking it as an invitation to smoke out. Also if you have never matchd bowls or had any contribution from him, then he must be taking advantage of your generosity. That should be easy to see. Damn he should at least get the munchies and beer! 
Ive done this with girls, but I never come out sort handed in the end after some type of reimbursement.

Sounds like he is taking advantage. Which sucks. Maybe invite him to smoke and say something to the effect of, "Grab some cranberry juice and nectarines on your way over." Or whatever fare you would prefer. See what happens then.

Kinda sounds like he is acting like he is your date if you ask me. Man sometimes it gets on my nerves if I'm going out with a women and we are dating/friends. You kind of blur the line being having fun and handing off responsibility.
Sounds like you are having the same dilemma here with your friend. You both enjoy smoking weed and hanging out, but then the butt kiss called money comes into play. It's funny, if money was no object, you would not have these feelings.
I think it's hard to respect the circumstance sometimes. If you make significantly more money or financially are better off then someone else, it's somewhat a tribute to help someone else out. It's somewhat hard to accept sometimes, I guess when you are helping someone else and somewhere it doesn't feel justified. I think it only doesn't feel justified because you seek something from the relationship that isn't their. You feel as something is missing.
Money is weird. If I give a tip to the car wash guys, at least the perception is the car is not washed as clean if I give them a tip. I don't think that isn't real either; sometimes the car does seem to be cleaned better if I do not tip; seriously. This makes sense here as well. Essentially you are paying your friend for the service of company; but you feel like the company is worse then if you weren't hanging out with your friend (as when you hang out with him you have to spend money on him).
The best friendships don't revolve around money. Money is more of just a function of life. Like you buy a coffee for a friend, they buy you a coffee; but it isn't about the coffee, it is about the conversation and time you are spending together. I bet your friendship would feel a lot better if you exchanged going to each other house and smoking with each others stash, and eating each others food.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is money, as a function of life should be shared on some level. On the same token, some level of helping others is required at points, but in some cases (such as this one) become harmful or counterproductive (as giving the car wash guys tips is actually counterproductive). I'm under the impression folks that are rich, horde their large cash as they know it makes people counterproductive if it is freely handed out. Just look at the welfare system; that doesn't exactly inspire someone to provide for themselves...
On the same token, I'm glad welfare is here because I think some people really need it because they aren't really on the same level as some of the rest of us.

hes not a bad dude, probably my favorite person to smoke with. but hes a student and not working so cant expect too much from him, saying that im also an unemployed student with not enough money but im not going to smoke him out again untill he at least contributes something, maybe a few bottles of cider/beer.

i had to run out so i never got to write this but, i can understand if he is in school and does not have a job but he could collect cans and buy a 1/8 to a 1/4 by the end of the month. we don't buy that many cans of soda and i still get a good $20 for my can collecting(witch has been going into my box) but if he was just a bum that's a different thing..

Roll a joint with just enough pot to taste and smell like it. Wet the glue with pee.

i had a friend that treated me like a slave calling me his ni*&er, lol so he said go get me a glass of coke with ice the way i like it n word.. so i got him his drink while adding another ingredient (pee).
lets say he drank it and i told him and he said i did not so i told him if thats what u believe ha ha..
