Yellow tips on tops!

Thanks guys! Here's some pics of the worst symptoms:
   
This has been going on for a week or two now,
it's only happening to the new growth on the top node of each plant, no other shoots have the yellowing
1200w too close @ 24"?
Soil:
1. Are you growing from seed or clones? seed
2. How old are your plants? 1 month
3. How tall are your plants? 10 inch
4. What size containers are they planted in? 4 gal
5. What is your soil mix? roots organic, "natural & organic"
6. How often do you water? 48hrs, RO'd water
7. What is the pH of your water? 6
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use? general organics bio thrive (4-3-3)+ CalMg (0-0-0)
9. Do you foliar feed? no
10. What kind of lights? 2x 600w HPS = 1200w
11. How close are your lights to the plants? were 12", last 4 days they are 24" away (still yellowing on new tips)
12. What size is your grow space in square feet? 5x5
13. What is the temperature and humidity? 69-80f, 40-60% rh
14. What is the pH of the soil? 6
15. Have you noticed any insect activity? fungus knats (watering with biological larvacide, inert to the plant)
16. How much experience do you have growing? novice

Diagnosis isn't my forte (and I dont have an answer for you) but i just wanted to say that those plants look really really good with the obvious exception. Hopefully this gets answered for ya soon. good luck!

Thanks! I took the lights up a few more inches and new growth on the tops is nice and green
