Indoor HPS - Alaskan Ice

Here's a couple shots of some Alaskan Ice. They're in about their 4th week of flowering. Thrips have been persistent on these plants so hopefully these plants will still finish well and the room can be cleaned and left dormant until there's no more thrips. Don't know if this will be a grow log or not but just wanted to post these here since I don't see many pictures of this strain around the net.

Thank you for your contribution and welcome to the Growery!
They look great, and I would like to at least see an update in a few weeks...
If that is bred with Alaskan Thunderfuck then I'm going to start drooling.

I would say yes, you have a lot of experience and know what to do with it more than I do.
From what I know of it, it's a sativa with some indica qualities. That's from reviews, I've never had it. From what I get from it, it's a very good strain to go about your day with. The cerebral, kinda heavy high, with no "Damn I wanna sleep" comedown. I like indicas, but the sleepy high is kinda annoying. That's why I like it, but have never had it...weird huh?

wait till you see the harvest pics though, easily the most trichomes I've EVER seen on a plant. You literally can't see the calyx's.
on the other hand, slow growing and poor yield basically make that irrelevant

Well yeah It's only like 4 days from harvest, I'm not going to just throw away like 10oz of buds
I've just got 15 strains in my moms area waiting to be cloned. I don't think I'm keeping the flo mom though is what I'm saying because she veg's incredibly slow, flowers beautifully but the yield is low. Oh, and she's one of those annoying bitches who can't even support her own weight so she's flopping all over my grow room

I plan on taking tons of pictures of all my strains as I harvest them. Just like I did with that one maneater plant yesterday, gonna take some sexy up close shots for all to drool upon
Edit; just clipped a tester branch of snowcap. Shit is dense, I might get 9 grams just from this little branch I cut off http://www.growery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/422472

Hehe thanks for the replies. I'm actually not that new here (registered a day before the person who said that :P) but don't often post. Usually rather hang out in the ethnobotanical garden on the 'roomery. Alaskan Ice is actually White Widow crossed with haze.

Hey thanks. I was using neem oil mixed with coco wetting agent with ok results then started using a pyrethrin/neem/potassium salts of fatty acids mixture which definitely killed many of them. They have not gone away but don't seem to want to mess with the areas with high trichome content so I discontinued spraying quite a while ago. I figure after this harvest the room can be cleaned and have a fresh, pest-free start. Should be about 3-4 weeks left.

Still at least a couple weeks from harvest but some buds were picked and dried for good measure. Here's some macro shots:

Success!
Despite the early thrips problems and various other mistreatments, these lovely ladies bore some nice, trichome-filled buds. 2/6 plants were harvested early to smoke and give as gifts. This is from the remaining 4 which spent some more time under lights.

Got a small amount of bubble hash too. There was a little more than this, but here's a pic:

Hehe thank you both. The final weight of those jars is 4.3oz. My estimation is that between the 6 plants I had there must have been at least 7oz but we are quite serious about smoking in this house.
