Got a 9.7 from Game Informer, and we all know their badass.
Besides it's supposed to be like GTA but in a western style.

I'm still on modern warefare 2.
I'm going to stay with the call of duty brand no matter what as long as the community stays competetive.
I enjoy the controls, and I like where they have gone with the series.
I'm hoping Black Op's is good, I think it is being developed by those that gave us.... Nazi Zombies.

I started a game last night and ended up in a game of holdem that lasted hours. If I was gonna bust the whole table It would have taken like 6 hours.

LOL I was at Lucid's house and we were playing this and we were like an hour into a poker game and it was down to 2 guys, and when he got beat on a really big hand he got all pissed, stood up and just blasted the guy in the face and sniped everyone in the bar and shit. It geeked me out so fucking hard that I was literally ROFLing and crying. It looked so real how they reacted to getting shot I couldn't help but laugh my fucking eyes out.

I buy video games for online multiplayer (because that gets me the best return of entertainment per dollar, im on over 70 hrs of game play right now, and have spent around 75 dollars on the game and downloads).
So xbox is the superior choice because xbox live multiplayer is > PS3 multiplayer.

My PS3 does a great job at being a dust magnet and paperweight. It's only redeeming quality is the fact that it's a blue ray player. My GF is a sony fangirl (which is why I bought the damn thing) and even she thinks the PS3 was a waste of cash. Sucks too because the PS2 killed the xbox in terms of, uh, well everything. They fell flat on their face with the PS3 though. Now they're scrambling trying to compete with the wii and the 360, they Move controllers that are coming out are going to fail pretty miserably.
Anyways, RDR is fucking sweet. Picked it up on release day and it hasn't left the drive. I love the multiplayer free roam, that shit is fun as hell. The other MP matches i think are pretty shitty. Controls are clunky, the games are confusing, so I generally stay away from them and just free roam. If I want MP action like the gang matches, I'll pop in MW2 and play a FPS.

Actually Xbox online play kicked any PS2 online play to the curb.
I've been a member of Xbox live for 5 years. So I would certainly know, I've almost been a member as long as possible.
Like I said, I'm an online gamer. I find offline gaming extremely unrewarding.

I feel the same way about xbox live, but the thing is you're paying for the service. If I'm paying 60 bucks a year for online play, it had better be good. With sony, the online stuff is free so they've got a little leeway if things are not as nice as the pay service.
I love online play too, but it seems as though I'm only enjoying it when with a group of friends. I stopped playing MW2 online solo because it was just too damn boring, throw 4 of my friends in the mix and I could play for days non stop.

With FPS game what I tend to do, is for the first week or 2 only play FFA, and add anyone that seems chill and is near my skill level. I don't really give a shit if they are better or worse, but I want someone close to my skill.
With MW2 I also threw in some Merc deathmatch because it is like FFA in the fact that nobody you run into is partied up.
So I tend to use public chat a lot.
What I started playing xbox live (in middle school playing mechassualt and rainbow six 3) I didn't have a single person I knew in real life on my friend list. And I prefer it that way.

Red dead is off the hook. But MW2 sucks compared to Battlefield 2: Bad Company, and I've been a Call of Duty fan since the franchise released.

Maps are to big.
Makes sniping to good.
Also, I hate having vehicles in my games that aren't rewards.
