We had a huge thread on that strain awhile back. it would be fun to grow outdoors but that's about it. I sure wouldn't want to be spending all that time on electricity and 20 foot ceilings to grow that beast indoors 
Would be a mighty fun smoke to have in your head stash though.

I think its for real. I'd like to grow some just as a fun experiment. I'm sure the yield is horrible, maybe if you scrogged it.

look how bright those greens are, they are almost fluorescent. That shit appears to be way more brilliant than even the best photographer could do with the best equipment.

that second picture is from MNS. looks like the same pic only smaller and less brilliant with the colors. Anyway, that thread was an interesting read. It's an exotic strain alright. it just looks really stressed out. i would never waste my time with that shit. why anyone would want to put months of effort into it only to get a few grams is beyond me. Marketing efforts are really centered around pictures, descriptions and word of mouth. they have plenty of motivation to hype shit up.

Good investigation work. I'd throw some beans out in a guerrilla patch but that's it. I wouldn't put time into it, especially since I'm an indica man, hybrid guy at best. I just don't like PURE sativas much...
Hey Magash, if you see this, will a pure indica, put out VERY early and with 2 months of veg under a 400 (very dense and bushy, nearly too bushy) and 4 months of VEG time left outside, with a full sun exposure spot, and 30+ Gallons of amazing soil, will the indica plant form a ball-type bush, and the hybrids will be tall bushes? Just curious
I've seen some great early start OD grows with Massive 2 LB plants and some guys get like round balls of a bush, while others get more of a pillar shaped bush, and seem to have more sativa influence. Is that whats determining the difference, with the same exact conditions?

Oh let me rephrase the question.
I've followed this one grower on RIU for a few years, and he grows outdoor in cali, and it seems like 1/2 of his monsters form a round ball-shaped bush, which is what I'm after, while his 60/40 Sativa dom plants get nearly just as bushy, they just have a more vertical structure.
I basically answered my own question. Damn I need some good sleep if my posts are getting confusing. I just don't remember what strains his shorter bushes were, and if it was just strain dependent or if most Pure Indicas will behave similarly.
