I'm doing an experiment on how weed grows in texas during this time of the year, it's humid so i think it's the best time from now till September.

Whats the best soil, I've heard from plenty of people weed likes its soil with moisture. Is that true? It also can't be expensive, this will be outside, I'm thinking something like Miracle-Gro + Pearlite?

I'm also going to be giving it 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of complete darkness.

What is the best fertilizer to use?
I heard cow shit? dry cow shit. haha.
