I read that holding in the smoke longer does NOT make you higher

There may have been threads on this already so excuse me. Is this true? I tend to hold my smoke in until I'm about fit to turn blue.

I USUALLY let mine right out, and I get pretty high.

I think 4 seconds or something is about all that is needed. Don't remember where read that. I know that if it's like my last bowl and I'm trying to conserve then holding every hit as long as possible and exhaling through my nose makes a considerable difference.

I dunno. I do it both ways, but I don't really notice that much of a difference, and I thought I remembered reading this too...so I just don't usually go out of my way to hold it.

If you hold it in, the only reason you feel like you're getting higher is the oxygen deprivation.

Haha, I end up doing that with the shisha in my hookah.

I'll be smoking it, taking the biggest hits I can  and not breathing in between. I always end up smoking it like its weed that I'm wasting if I don't keep hitting it :lol:

By the end I'm super light-headed, because I always forget to take it slow with the damn thing haha.

Haha, that's what I don't like about vaporizers, I always try to suck down the biggest hit of vapor I can, and by the time I get it in my lungs, my vision is going blurry. Feels great, but has to be bad for the ol' brain cells.

Probably not cause theres still plenty of oxygen in the vapor hits, thats just a buzz from the THC and maybe a little buzz from SO MUCH oxygen in your lungs

Not in the kind I usually use. A volcano doesn't do that, because it does have oxygen. Whip style vapes, no so much :mad2:

Nope.

the THC sticks to your lung
as you inhale the smoke

Think of a smoke filled balloon
only the smoke touching the sides of the balloon
would be able to actually stick to it

the smoke touches the sides
of your lung-sack/balloon
as you are inhaling

once it is in it is no longer touching the sides and cant get absorbed

or at least that is how I have always envisioned it :justdontknow:
