Thats completely understandable, but genetics determine the cutoff for production in each strain. So what I was saying is you wont get or be forcing a bigger yeild, that will be the same (considering you have a setup to acheve max yeild for said genetics) youll just get there a bit faster, not much tho maybe a week, kno what I mean.
I too used 18 and 24hrs untill I compared pros and cons of that and less hours, and even tho growth may be a bit quicker using 18 or 24 there are more things to be gained using less, one of which is more females. I do get slower growth but am rewarded with more ladies to choose from and in the end bigger yeilds due to having the ability to choose optimum selections, so to me its worth the extra 3 to 7 days, but again its comes down to grower preference and experiece, its whatever works for you.
