Well the rest of the plant is going to go for another week but I wanted a nug to smoke on my birthday so I went ahead and took one of the smaller ones off just now so it will be respectably dried on the 22nd.
here is some close up shots after trimming, POTM quality perhaps?
  
I can't wait to show off the rest once it's all done there is 3 or 4 colas at least as long as my hand and much denser then this one.
BTW I quick dried a really tiny bud from the bottom of this just for a taster and the flavor has really smoothed out from the last test of popcorn trim. I know now it's going to be grade A smoothness I will have to wait to weigh in on potency though I was already ripped for this taste and the amount I smoked never would of done anything to me any ways.

Id say in 2weeks that bud will be ripe ripe, how far along is it? On the other hand, Im currently using the same Scorpion lighter.

It is at 55 days of 12/12 and was germinated 12/10/09.
None of the trichs are amber yet but in the last two days many went from clear to opaque so I know the change is happening. I am going to let it go until its perfect since I am saving it all (except this nug) for my annual 4/20 camping trip. I have plenty of time to finish it, dry it and even let it cure a bit before I ever break the first bowl off.

Thank you and yes that's the plan, well the waiting a week part. I am considering trying a water cure with part of it because I have never had bud done that way. It will be well flushed by harvest though.
