Yeah I don't believe in tabula rasa either, we are born with differing temperaments, intelligence ect which all can predispose us to believing in organized religion. Obviously environment plays the largest role but is not the sole contributor.

I'm sorry if that particular forum is a joke (which I'm not sure it is), this thread was NOT intended as a joke at all.
I don't think that's a joke forum because you notice that all the religious freaks are quoting scripture that appeals to their arguments. So they're either Die-Hard Christians, or Christian hating Christians (much worse).
I brought this up because I was reading something fucked up about religion and it reminded me of a post I read this summer about the same scenario as that thread 'How to get my daughter to marry her rapist.'. If that's not the real site, there is definitely one out there that is just as bad and means it.
Either way, in conjunction with shroomery, we should have a forum war against those sick fucks.

i think that's the point of the forum, just look at the amount of people replying in hate against them. belief in the same thing but acting a different way about it.
most of the quotes should be taken out of context too as part of the joke. spending my time at a religious high school didn't take me long to figure out you can use nearly any scriptures to back up whatever belief you have. hell you can use the same verse to supply a whole debate, from both sides 
I find the way they go about making their point in those forums is best way to go about it. arguing with organised religious people is like headbutting a wall. it's hard to tell the different between the stubborn and the strong willed.
