not a guru but the 2700k is preferred for flowering someone else might have input on the merits of having both spectrums covered

Well, in the HID area it's a good idea to throw in at least 1 MH per like 3-4 HPS bulbs that you are running.
So my guess with how much your using I would stick with jsut the 2700k. But I'm not experienced with CFL's, but I imagine it's the same pricipals as HID growing.
