haha yeah you're right about that imprint. I was on my way to work and I rear ended this dude's truck going about 35-40mph. His truck had barely a scratch on it and he said he was physically fine thankfully.
Both my air bags went off and my door wouldn't open so I had to crawl out through the passenger side coughing through a ridiculous amount of chemicals and smoke from the airbags. I didn't realize it until several hours later when I saw my forehead but apparently I headbutted and cracked the windshield. I think I have some whiplash as well but the thing is the pain in my neck is identical to the pain and tension I had after a long LSD trip during the couple hour drive home about 3 days before I even got in an accident. It went away until I wrecked and now its been acting up. Think I should go to a hospital? This shit doesn't just clear up on it's own after a few days does it?

Did you have pain in your neck right after the crash or later on? If you had it right after you might want to go get checked out by a doctor, you might have a neck injury. Is your neck stiff?

No, I didn't feel anything after the crash especially with the adrenaline running. Isn't it normal for whiplash to take a day or two to really kick in? I don't know if stiff is the word. Kind of feels like a headache in the back of my neck behind my right ear.

Well you will most likely be sore man, from your windsheild it looks like you didnt hit your head on it. And if you did it wasnt serious. If your neck isnt stiff, then I wouldnt worry about it. Take some advil or something. I'm an EMT by the way........What exactly are you worried about? are you worried about having something fucked up with your neck? Or what?

yeah first real crash minus a few little fender benders
My neck started really acting up and hurting last night so I went by the hospital and they freaked out that I waited almost a week to get checked out. Well first I went by the medstop where a 50 year old Elliot Reed told me to go to the real hospital and didn't charge me for the visit. She was cool as fuck.
They gave me a shot of Toradol in my ass, the x-rays showed my alignment seemed fine so it was probably just soft tissue strain or something. I hear/feel a clicking in my neck when I turn past a certain degree but they said it's probably a tendon issue. So they prescribed me some ibuprofen, some muscle relaxers, and some Vicodin which I was kind of surprised since I straight up told them I like to do drugs. Too bad I'm not too fond of hydrocodone so this shit's probably just getting sold. If all this doesn't get cleared up in a week or two then I'll need to go back for an MRI.
Oh an apparently my insurance ran out about 2 months ago so all this is coming out of pocket while I'm trying to buy a new car. Nifty, eh? The visit may have cost me several hundred dollars but I'm at least really glad to have the peace of mind that it wasn't a larger issue and I'm not going to be disabled for the rest of my life or something.

haha just got back from the pharmacy and without insurance the three med's averaged out to about $7 for each prescription!!
I think I'm gonna try a cold-water extraction and see how these 7.5 hydro's go. Anyone ever tried it?

yeah the bottle said I should have 12 but they gave me 16 I thought that was pretty cool. The other prescriptions were spot on but dude gave me 4 extra of the narcotics. Soo many douches lately.. feels good to know there's still good peeps out there
