To be honest icmag is a much better place atm for that kind of information. Sure there are helpful folks here but certainly not enough of them.

woah dude, fucking relax a little. some people are here for cultivation information and some people are here for the social environment. most of us have been here since the beginning of this website (and many years prior on a related board) and so we're friends. we like to talk and catch up, and grow weed in the mean time.
just be patient, the grow boards don't have as many users but they have very knowledgeable ones. I personally get rather bored of answering the same questions about light hours over and over so I stop in here to chat, but if you have a pressing issue just post a thread and eventually it WILL get answered. if not, just send a pm to one of the moderators of the forum and they'll be happy to help out

Wow... You really put that into words quite well. 
While not much content is actually cultivation related, all the chaos and drama and lulz that ensue are definitely the result of Cannabis consumption! Ha
I participate in the cultivation forums daily, and really think this place would grow a whole lot faster if more of TSL and Domers would participate as well, although I don't know how many of those members I would trust on the subject...
