around 5-10 at the most lately.
usually if combined with alcohol, one is smoked after every two beers. cause chain smoking whilst drunk is a bad habit

Depending on stress or activities, 5-12 a day. I used to smoke a pack and a half a day as a freshman in college, but over the years I've taken it down a few notches. One day I'll quit completely...
I still have those fuck my life days where I'll come close to a pack a day. But luckily those days have been few and far between lately.
I've also been rolling my own cigs for three months now. Cigs are less than half price when hand rolled, at least in my area with the current $56+ per carton rapeage. It's slightly annoying to have to roll them, but worth it for ~25 a carton.
