I grew up on the Beaches of St.Pete, and smuggling has a rich history in the area. One of the most famous marijuana smugglers from the area is Steve Lamb. In 1973 Steve and six of his friends were busted with 9 tons of ganja, at the time it was the largest marijuana bust in U.S. history.("Steinhatchee seven") Steve got twenty years and was out in about five, and continued his ways. Steve recently got out of prison and has been busy writing a book of his exploits. SMUGGLERS GHOST is a very good book, and I just wanted to let the people of the GROWERY know about it.
