A few questions
    #299983 - 10/19/09 12:15 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

I want to grow outdoors in a climate that can change often.  I was wondering what strains can adapt and take little maintenance.  Also is there a site or map that I can find that can show me what types and strains are best for certain regions? Particularly in the United States?  I've done some searching without any luck.

well tell us a little more about this climate you're growing in. You are aware that cannabis will always flower with 12 hours or less of light per day, making winter growing next to impossible right?

I do know this, I know I'm a long way from planting time.  I just want to start my research now because come may I'm going to wish I did.  I am in southeast nebraska, and I don't even know if it is possible or even worth it.

I may mention I have had a successful bag seed indoor grow in the past.  I don't know much about it but I'm not a complete newbie.

Nebraska, man you live on top of literally some of the best soil in the world. you won't have to do shit but make sure they stay watered and you'll turn out a hell of a crop.

the heartland of America is the reason we had such an epic economy for so many years. the soil and climate you have out there are as perfect for agriculture as you can possibly get on this planet.

I agree, the soil is definitely good, but I was wondering about the plants health when it comes to flowering stages.  Do I need a plant with a quicker and shorter flowering stage? We have seen snow as early as late september.  We have already had a couple of freezes this year.
