help picking strains?

im going to order some good genetics and start them after this first bagseed grow. Im growing indoor, and space is limited. I really would like 1) a strong indica, 2) a strong sativa, 3) something fruity, 4) a suprise.
Just to hear what you guys would do will give me ideas. I wanna know what some popular strains are among some fine growers/connoisseurs like yourselves.

All of em. I tried to pick strains that are killer but have a decent price for ya. I've had good results with all of em esp the Bam Bata which was great for a sativa.

Hey guys...Last night I ordered Mandala's "Hashberry", and I got DNA's "Sour Cream". This is my first time ordering from Doc Chronic so this is kind of a test run. Next time I will order a couple more strains and be comfortable spending more money once I know he delivers.
My line up:
Hashberry (Indica Dom.) Sour Cream (Sativa Dom.)
going to get:
LA Confidential (Balanced Hybrid (S)60%/(I)40%; w/ a "Kush" high.) Medicine Man (Classic Strain) Black Widow (Classic Strain) Sweet Tooth (Sweet/Fruity)
and maybe:
Bam Bata (Sativa Dom) G13 X Haze or a NL #5 X Haze.... After reading the "History of Haze" article in my November 2009 High Times, I feel that every grower should have a good haze in their garden.
Im going to do a Sea Of Green with 4 strains, and dedicate 1 sqft to one strain in a total area of 4 sqft (2'x2') under my 400w HPS. What do you guys think?

I'll let Magash answer for himself of course, but I always have to throw in my for Seedboutique. Its a secure site, and you can instant pay with a card, AND I've had 100% success with my many, many orders there.

I LOVE DOC CHRONIC - i ordered my seeds a week ago (last Saturday), and they got here very in one week. Very fast and in a nice discrete package with the original seed bank packaging shipped along with it and the seeds nice and labled. A+ FOR DOC CHRONIC!!!!!

are you talking to me or to slim? I sent the $$$ on 10/6 or so. I also sent them a payment on 10/01 but they haven't even received that mailing. I think the stupid usps fucked it up somehow. I might have to do something about that. I also sent them another pmt around 10/14. so we'll see how it goes.

Yea I remember you telling me that in the pass, I have a order of Hashberry, and Ice from Seed Boutique coming any day now.
I also found these SF BigTex White Russian x Blueberry at seedbay, I'm not worried about trouble just like a kid waiting on a Christmas present all excited.

I am gunna get some more strains from Doc...I know that DJ Short probably has the best "Blueberry", but his are out of order so I was thinking about maybe getting it from Dutch Passion...how is their version?
Who's got the best White Widow besides Mr.Nice who has the original (Black Widow)?

More pheno's way less stable with Nirvana but you can find a good keeper in their seeds. They don't do F2s like everybody thinks but make their own versions of strains.

I ended up getting DNA's - "C13 Haze" (Cannalope Haze x g13), Barney's - "Sweet Tooth", and Nirvana's "White Rhino"...
In addition to my "Hashberry" and "Sour Cream" I think I got some pretty awesome sounding buds in my future, I am stoked. When i start these babies in December ill be sure to put up a grow journal.

It was a 10 pack.
I wasn't expecting any freebie being I only spent 70 dollars on two different strains.
They are very small seeds, but appear to be good.

I notice that my Haze seeds are tiny, and germinate very quickly, while my Crystal seeds are huuuge and take up to 2 days to germinate. I assume that's due to the thickness of the shell and the duration of time it takes for the moisture to penetrate to the core.

Do you do any scarification techniques? If not, that would help your germ times on those big shells.

I was going to say the same, but without the fancy name. Where'd you get those seeds inverted?
