In the bay area you get a few p. cyan. pins around mid October.  There are no more pins by Feb. 1.  I'm not there these days but my homies should be sending me some come November.  I have no idea where I can go hunt cubies around New Orleans.  No car so, maybe not worth the effort.  Happy hunting!

Cool. I checked multiple cyan patches already and found nothing.

I did however, find gals. This is a good sign that cyans are right around the corner..

when we get pan ants here that's usually a sign of things to come.

but not always.

Here is some Panaeolus cyanescens I found this spring! These were some blue meanies, very potent! Found a nice patch of these under some pine tree in a cow pasture.

Have been waiting for some solid days of rain for the fall season to begin.
