kimbo just isnt a good fighter really compared to most other heavyweight fighters that usually do ufc, pride, whatever. hes got a moderate stand up game and a very poor ground game. his first couple they pitted him against a couple of old farts that were well known decent fighters from like 10-15 year ago for the freak show value just to make money. didnt take long for him to lose, when they were trying to make him fight another old dude that didnt show up to the fight, they made him fight a karate guy w/ pink hair that had only a couple of pro fights under him, basicly a nobody, and lost.
kimbo was allowed in mma pretty much purely as a money making gimmick. peeps that knew anything about fighting should have seen this as soon as they heard he joined mma.

more like he had potential. would take him many years to develop his ground game as strong as these other guys. most mediocre fighters have probably 5-10 years experience w/ a ground fighting style, the really good fighter probably have like 10-20 years of ground training sometimes more depending on the fighter. kimbo walked in to MMA with probably only having high school wrestling experience as the extent of his training. itd take kimbo 5-10 years of training to be a real threat. in 5 years kimbo will be too old to be a threat to the younger guys.

Ya know how it started. I told her if she got her grades up I'd give her 2 oz a month as long as she kept them up. (of course I thought at the time there was no way in hell she'd actually do it). The little shit got them up and kept them up so I had to keep my word. She grows with me now so it's more of a joke then anything else but at the time she was sticking it to me.

Kimbo, i believe had a short stint in ufc prior to all this new hype. He should think about a career in wrestling tho with all his drama!
IMO, he is just another bar or alley brawler who has no real direction. If he could ever accept the UFC for what it is and get himself a trainer to harness his brawling attitude, he may be worth while.
