I built this the other day but have yet to decide if it is a squirrel feeder or torture device. 
Funny as shit to watch anyway. I'll have to try to catch a vid clip to upload sometime. 
The pics explain it imo but just in case... Each end has a spike that holds an ear of corn. The whole thing rotates like a windmill from the squirrel's weight as it climbs around on it.

You want some good entertainment?
Put a pile of corn stalks and husks out there and let it ferment for a few weeks. Squirrels will consume this stuff and get shit faced drunk!
It is some funny stuff to see a drunk squirrel try and run down a trail or climb a tree!

That Mission Impossible Squirrel was a trip.
The launched ones were a sad yet common example of everyday Southern entertainment.
Then there is:
I think I can top that by attaching a tightly wound bungee cord and a simple release mechanism to mine.
As for the fermented corn and getting a squirrel drunk goes. That can quickly lead to a road of ruin.
