I have added several terms that I have gathered from around the internet...Some of the definitions are pretty shitty but I'm hoping that some of you will elaborate more.

Air layering - this appears to be the technique that someone was referring to as the "snake method" in the cultivation forums this week.
Alternate Host
and maybe a dozen other terms in a-b were added. I made changes and additions to a few too.

If you want to jump to a location in the same document, you need to tag each glossery term with an <a name=""> as follows: Code:
<a name="aeroponics">Aeroponics</a>
and then you can link directly to it from other places in the document with the standard hyperlink code <a href="">Code:
e.g. See also <a href="aerponics">aeroponics</a> for more information.
An interactive example can be found here: http://www.w3schools.com/Html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_link_locations
You should then be able to use the same name identifiers to link people from other pages directly to specific definitions Code:
e.g. Check out <a href=http://www.growery.org/3071/Cultivation-Glossary#aeroponics>aeroponics</a> in the glossary.

That's just a few?!?! Those are legit terms That should be included. IMO this should be an expansive collection of terms with definitions that are as articulate and concise as possible. My plan was to go through as many cannabis growing books glossary's as possible and add all relavent words and review each definition and compare it to what is there. I also noticed there was one definition that include a quotation with a credit. IMO that shouldn't be included. Credit doesn't need to be given to these definitions since we are making a concoction of terms in order to improve clarity to the readers. Just my opinion, let me know what ya'll think.

As I was going through terms I consciously excluded terms related to smoking like bong and joint. I suppose they should be included if the scope of this glossary is Cannabis, but it's labeled as a Cultivation Glossary. I used the latter as a guide.

We must have been editing at the same time because I didn't remove any and I'm not going to its for everyone to edit.
Which ones were they and I'll get them out of the bible and put them back in. I don't know how it happened.

ahhhh fuck, you're right!! Sorry for the accusations there. You can view the revisions of each person's editing. just click on 'Highlight Changes.'
I was editing the thing then clicked submit when I was done and you must have been editing an older verision than prior to my update, so it only put in your updates and erased what I had done just prior.  That's a fucked up lesson to learn.
How can we circumvent this issue in the future? Everyone just post here before you edit and when done? that seems like a hassle.

i can add them back easy enough. I was just using copy and paste for the new definitions from a pdf version i have. I have a copy of the breeders bible and was looking through the glossary last night and it was very stacked.

Wow, looking great guys! One thing to keep in mind though, we need to check the accuracy of our definitions as we add them and proofread the document as we go.

i just finished proofing the whole thing and added some comments...

i'm leaving it but if anyone ales that actually knows what that's supposed to mean can alter it then good, i think its necessary.
also i think Curing should be a little better explained.

I added biological control. That definition was taken directly from the Cannabis Grow Bible by Greg Green.
Since i had it on a PDF I was able to do a search to see what context it was used in in the book. The dude never even mentioned that term in the book!

not imho no... it's quality over quantity in my book...
i don't hang out in cannabis cultivation forums too much these days, if you tell me you came across that term even once since you joined here i'd feel a little better about it but somehow i have a feeling that's not the case, again if i'm wrong feel free to correct me!

Eh, i thought it was relevant. It makes sense. I just thought it was odd that he didn't use that term in the book anywhere but the glossary. I'm sure someone could find a more thorough (understandable) definition. Good point Simisu. these definitions don't need to be in a language that is akin to reading a bill in congress.
