I thought my use of "n00b" was a joke but apparently you took it a tad personally.
Seriously, we are a community of people who break the law on a regular basis. There are a lot of people here who grow weed illegally and also deal it and other drugs. There are cops who lurk here and the shroomery to gather information on members. The police can and have remotely accessed people's cell phones to collect sensitive information.
Why the sarcasm? You think I was a little over the top? I get worked up when I think about what the government gets away with and even more pissed off when people don't care because it doesn't effect them.

Wow man my top apologizes for real. I'm usually quite a stickler for things like that and I fully intended on using the correct heteronym but unfortunately in my hurry to express my sentiment I accidentally let that one slip.

IMO it's an irrational fear. The police have a lot better ways of tracking people than their cell phones. If you're really scared, why not just stop breaking the law?
