I just downloaded the new Muse album, any one else checked it out? I'm digging how they're more politically active minded about what's going on right now than ever before. The album is called The Resistance with song titles like "The United States of Eurasia" and "MK Ultra" lol. It's much more in your face "fight the powers that be" than anything they've done before but not quite musically up to par at least from what I've gathered so far.

But for real, today was my first day of classes, so I'm right there with ya. Screw organic chem, and someone please tell me why the fuck my lab book costs 200 dollars... Don't forget the text, which already cost me 150 used. God damnit. And that's just for one class.

Your lab book costs so much because they probably dont print a lot of them. If its in color it will cost more also. The less they print the more they cost. SUPPLY AND DEMAND BITCH!

I thought my use of "n00b" was a joke but apparently you took it a tad personally.
Seriously, we are a community of people who break the law on a regular basis. There are a lot of people here who grow weed illegally and also deal it and other drugs. There are cops who lurk here and the shroomery to gather information on members. The police can and have remotely accessed people's cell phones to collect sensitive information.
Why the sarcasm? You think I was a little over the top? I get worked up when I think about what the government gets away with and even more pissed off when people don't care because it doesn't effect them.

IMO it's an irrational fear. The police have a lot better ways of tracking people than their cell phones. If you're really scared, why not just stop breaking the law?
