So here is going to be my mushroom grow.....for all that wanted those spore prints you can follow my progress here. Please dont close this down mods! lol. I will get pix up here in a few.

So you got some prints?
I should have taken better prints from the the local fungus. I took prints on most the caps i took just to confirm what they were. I have cardboard water bottle boxes with prints, but i am sure they are no good by now. All dusty and what not. But it has been quite rainey here lately and have been thinkng about taking a walk through the pastures. We get the pan subbs and them hawaiian blue meanies. Brah, them things can be unkind. Had a rather bad trip on them doing the lemon tek. Whooee! Sent me on a 5 hour trip i do not want to repeat. Got all anxious and zing'in !! Melted into my chair once a few times and just held on for the ride, telling myself "it will be over soon, its just a bad trip". Haha, but then i downed about 6 - 8 good sized caps and had a nice ride. Was a good trip! Not really sure why that happened that time. Until then i have always had good trips and have since. Wonder if there is some kind of mold that gets you?

Sometimes there are molds that you dont want to eat but they are pretty noticeable. lol. I usually get trich.....stupid green mold. But ya pics are comin just a few secs they are uploading. I dont have the prints as of yet but soon I will be getting them right now I am pressure cooking some WBS.

Feel free to ask questions guys.
 Here are some of the jars I'm using.
 WBS that I am using to get the mycelium going.
 Gotta wash all that vitamin shit outta the seed.
 Just liked the way the water looked.
 Holes for innoculation.
 Jars with WBS in them.
 My pressure cooker with about 3/4 full of water so the jars dont crack.
 Chillin in the water.
 On the stove....gotta cook it for an hour at 15 PSI i think thats what my bell is anyways haha I should go check.
Again any questions feel free to ask me I like a challenge. Siek could probably help you as well, and some other people on here if you wanna try this out.

I will definately give it a go... I have a shitload of WBS I live next to a Bird Feed Elevator and used to work there and have a bunch of bags of stuff like that, but without the vitamins and whatnot. What medium do I need to use in the fruiting chamber or whatever. I really don't know shit about this so you should help me along. And is the best way to make cakes or whatever? Please fill me in slowly, i'm a huge n00b at this.

Alright, basically you can either do cakes which a lot of noobs do or you can take your spawn (mycelium) and spawn it to something nutritious. I'm going to be using Coco Coir which is like reptile bedding. Since it has nutes in it the mushroom mycelium will spawn onto it and since I'm going to be using a monotub I don't have to case it unless I really want to. Casing is when you take something non nutritious like vermiculite and put it over your mycelium....Basically its for keeping moisture in your cakes. You want the humidity very very high like almost 99%. Just sit back and watch what I do and you will learn it, its hard to explain for how easy it is but I will try my best. I suggest you just do what I do and get a monotub going. You wont be disappointed  .

Coco coir, mini green house + cool mist humidifier = the win!
UBER yields.. I can't even devour all I can get in 4 quart wbs jars in a year.. lol

Haha yea thats what I hear. I have done grows before but never a monotub. Plus my fuckin tub is 2 1/2' long by 1' wide by 1' deep. So I should get monster yeilds if I dont get any contams.

I wish I had somewhere to grow. I'm gonna work that out soon but I can't do it at home. Having teen age boys who are too much like me, I'm afraid they may end up atracting law attention even if I don't. I doubt it but you never know.

Mushies are pretty discreet just put em in a closet...they dont smell or anything. And you really dont need light except to tell them which direction to go.

I need to look into the possibility of establishing an outdoor grow in my region. They don't grow wild here but do not far south. It seems to me that If I got a large and well established grow started during the right time of year then maybe it will come back in future years with a little care. I could get away with that pretty easy somewhere close living out here in the sticks as I do. Most anyone who may come across it wouldn't think a thing of it. Just more mushies. Similar looking ones are very abundant here.
