There are mushrooms growing in both of my pots. I first noticed one about a week ago. I plucked it up and threw it away. Now my buddy that is keeping an eye on the grow reports seeing three of those fuckers.
Has this happened to you? Is it common? Is there any reason to be alarmed?
I will take pics if they are spotted again after I get back from my vacation.
whoah. thats crazy. were they at least of the magic variety? and usually, no. no cause for alarm. they will break down some of the nutrients in the soil for you so you dont have to work as hard to feed your plant it's nutes. it should be that way anyway, seems logical. also, thats an indication that you are keeping your soil way too moist. mushrooms dont usually grow unless they can do a clean spawn run and grow at around 90-95% humidity. try letting your soil dry out a bit more between waterings.
