Clipping tips a leaves???
    #239509 -

I notice that in a lot of pictures of MJ clones, that the tips of the fan leaves are snipped. Why is this practice so widely used, and what is its benefits?

If I remember correctly it has to do with moister control so the clones will not get mold and maybe more light to leaves on lower levels.

It is so the plant loses less moisture through respiration. The less leaf the more moisture held.

From Jorge's Cultivation Book, "Cut leaves in hlaf to lower transpiration surface and to keep them from overlapping.  Moisture that could foster fungus is often trapped between overlapping leaves."

There ya go.
