 Looking to move to Maine, anyone know some good hippie havens there?

I'm looking to possibly move to Maine, but I am looking for a few good towns that have a nice liberal/hippie population. You know, the kind of place were it is easy to meet hookups, somewhere you might see someone puffing on a joint on the side of the street 
I am looking somewhere on the coast, were the climate is at least a bit more temperate. Also, somewhere that has a nice sizable population, like at least 10,000 or so, that way it will be easier for me to find a job 
Anyway, if anyone could just throw out some city names it would be greatly appreciated. I heard Bangor Maine was pretty chill, anywhere else?

Thanks Tripity, you guys have a nice site here.
California is too far away  Maine seems pretty cool when it comes to the Shiva, but I am just not really familiar with the area.
Has anyone lived there or known someone who lives there?

maine will be especially good because of the closeness you are to quebec... im not sure about the good smoking places because i only vacation there but im sure it would be a good place to grow weed or shrooms depending on if your in the city or or whatnot

Yea, I am kind of used to winter weather, I currently live in Massachusetts.
It just seems like Maine is kind of the East coast's California when it comes to their relaxed nature, both in laws and populous, towards the green giant (not the climate of course).
Seems like that would be a nice place to live.
