I prefer smoking more, when i am drunk i don't feel the true nature of the true ganja buzz.

If Im drinking Im going to get high as I drink.
But Im high almost all day regardless

I like to start drinking first and then smoke after I start to feel the alcohol a little. Keeps me more mellow.

Definitely drinking first, smoking after... and then it doesn't really matter. But if I smoke first and get really blazed, I often lose a measure of interest in drinking. Drinking first and following up with a smoke seems to potentiate the high for me.  -->   ==

Nice to see ya here again.
I'll add to what I said above with I also have an anxiety issue that some things spur. Smoking only is one of those things. Wasn't like that when I was younger but I guess my brain chemistry has changed as I've gotten older. I'm 38 now and have been like that since my mid twenties or so.

I also like to drink first then smoke. For the last cocuple years we'd have happy hour after work across the street and i'd get fairly plastered then i'd smoke a joint on my bike ride home. It was the life, i tell ya.

Hey Bob, did you used to fly in those.........I have a cousin that dose...he's a load master.
I don't like to drink and smoke......but I noticed back when I did that if I smoked first the booze didn't really get to me the same ways as smoking after drinking........that really put a cap on it.
Sometimes I have been known to drink while smoking.....but not very much.
I like smoking for a hangover, tends to fix things up if you are still sick.

Has anybody else noticed how much weed potentiates alcohol? If you hold out until you've got a strong alcohol buzz going then usually when you finally smoke it hits you a lot harder. Like, a lot harder.

Yeah. Sometimes my blood pressure med works too well and I have stood up after doing that before only to fall on my face. Sucks when that happens.

..if I mix dank weed and hard liquor or mixed drinks I go on blackout drunks sometimes. I forget what i did the last hour before I fall asleep. I have left food out, made a mess on the floor spilling food many times with this combo. But many times when I go on a blackout I havent had a lot of sleep the night before.

I prefer smoking by itself, if I drink after I smoke I generally don't feel the alcohol (or desire to drink enough to feel it,) and if I drink before I usually can't remember much and it seems like a waste.

Whoa dude, either you are having an allergic reaction or (more likely) dosing way too heavily on either or both substances. Know your limits, you should never be taking so many drugs into your system that you cannot consciously control yourself or even remember what you were doing the night before. To do that is irresponsible and dangerous to your health and safety, as well as the potential safety of those around you. Ease up man. You have an entire life to live.

Yes it is.
I've done that a plenty in the past and it is indeed a part of the past. It's no way to live. Not knowing what all you did the night before is a bad feeling. Sometimes there were others around to let me know what all went down and I just had to trust em on it or not. Sometimes I went out on my own and to this day have know Idea exactly what I may have done. I know one night I passed out in my chair in a man cave I used to have. My wife woke me up the next morning asking me where I had been. I told her right here. She told me a friend had called wanting to know wtf had gotten into me before. Turned out I had gone to his house and trashed his place before trying to fight everyone there. He is a bit of an asshole and kinda deserved at least some of that but the question is where did I go with my anger when I left there? I hope home.
All sorts of bad things can happen. Not to mention what living like that does to your health.

I think it is just alcohol in general, I hardly ever go on them now..but I think when it happens to me it is because, I mix too many shots in one big drink at once and drink it too fast, then the alcohol hits me too fast all at once. I'm used to just drinking beer to get drunk mostly..and that is what i think happpens.
Dont worry about me, I am usually always in control when i am drinking or other drugs.

Personally, I don't like to drink too much. I mean, I will, but I don't enjoy it as much as most people. I drank myself almost to death when I was 14, so any hard liquor just makes me sick to even look at.
I like the buzz you get from beer, but its annoying having to drink so many to get there.
I just stick with my herb most of the time at parties. I'll drink a little, but not really with the intent to get drunk.

I will only drink hard liquor if i have some good bud. Beer it doesnt matter i can drink it slow but blueberry smirnoff vodka i will drink a 5th of that and act stupid. Good quality indica will calm me down though, its the only thing that keeps me from doing some stupid shit when i get plastered. Also good for the hangover all day the next day. Getting plastered can make it hard to stay calm. Like if you get crazy drunk and take some xanax, it does the opposite of help the situation. Toke however is always good.
