while i smoke a lot, and have for the past 2.5 years, i've never had my own piece. well tomorrow that changes. the thing is, i'm not quite sure what i want to get. my friend is moving in with me the first of march and she has an extended pipe, a zong & a mini bong. when she moves in we are using our tax return money to buy a volcano. but in the meantime i need something to smoke out of. therefore i am looking for recommendations as to what i should get for my first piece.

im a big fan of spending little money on smoking devices and more on drugs themselves. That said I recommend getting a cheap pipe, 20-30$ glass piece
how you have gotten away without having your own piece is beside me, I would hate not having a pipe

I'd advise starting off with a classic straight piece. Glass on glass.
Get an ashcatcher (saves so much effort).
Buy a gallon of rubbing alcohol, some q tips, toothpicks, pipecleaners and shamwows/j clothes.
determine if you want ice notches and other details and opt for something simple and practical over something that looks crazy but is hard to clean/use/doesnt hit well.

dont get a vape, I have one and I have a few decent bongs and I chose the bong every time
I would get a nice bong with one or more percs (if you like them)
but yeah get an ashcatcher
btw, im drunk for the first time in 6 months and its great

Get a simple glass pipe that you like. Not too cheap and no need to go real expensive either. It should be thick and heavy so that it won't break easy. Ask if you can give it a few hard raps on the counter before buying.

well for about two years i was at college and never smoked alone. my friends had sweet pieces; percs, bongs, bubs. i was borrowing a friends bub until november, but i finally returned it. since then it's either been joints or the gravity bong i mcgyver'd up. i also am a fan of spending less money on smoking devices & so i can spend more on the drugs themselves

nothing beats a nice piece of glass.
i was smokin j's and blunts for almost a year (no access to glass, not risking living sitch)
moved into my new place and hit a bong again.
most stoned since my 2nd time with the reefer.

i just want something simple. i'm thinking of going with a bong just because i like smoking from bongs. i've been looking a percs but not wanting to drop a lot of $$.

i got a complete glass on glass set for $90 w/ perc downstem. + $40 for ashcatcher piece.

You can get a glass bong that uses a piece and a heat gun...That way you can smoke out of the bong with a lighter...Or use it as a vaporizer...I have one...Excuse me had one, and I can't wait to get another.
