Purple drank is a term kind of like syrup...It's promathezine/codeine. You get it sometimes when you get sick. They are giving it out more now instead of the HC(hydrocodone) liquid. They used to give me HC syrup everytime I went to the doctor. Then the DEA has this thing now where they can see what is being prescribed like it's their damn business. Now I'm lucky to get anything when I get the flu or strep...Fucking assholes.

as shitty as it would be to acknowledge this, that kinda is the DEA's job. I hate it myself, I am not a person who feels the government needs its talons this far into a person's choices in life.

I know...But if someone goes in and is legitimately ill with a bad case of the flu or strep I think that deserves some hydrocodone cough syrup. I don't feel like it was being given out too openly like some doctor do with oxys etc...
You know people in the government get it if they get sick...I think I deserve it as well. I mean doctors wouldn't just hand it to you twice a week or something...It was only like the equivilent of 50 mg or something I can't remember in the entire bottle.
It was just nice to have when my entire body hurt...When my throat had white pockets of whatever it is on it...It fucking hurts. There isn't much you can do except find a doctor that will prescribe it though.
On another note I agree with what the DEA does to a certain extent, but this along with cannabis are not 2 of the things I happen to agree with. If someone is sick they deserve to be treated. There are actually laws that say something like: If you have deemed the person ill they have the right to be treated like they want...Not word for word and it doesn't say like they want, but it says something similar.
