Geez it doesnt feel like Friday after partying all week. Just watched my schools basketball team fuck up undefeated Stanford 90-60 and open up Pac-10 play 1-0 and move to 12-1 on the season

No it doesn't. I've put away all the holiday cheer and pretending all is well in the world. I've found myself in a bitter and foul mood. I'm not going to spread that around here though. Going to have a few drinks and some smoke. Hope you all are having a good evening.

Very sorry to hear that.
Mine had another stroke Christmas and is not looking well. He has been on hospice for months as it is. He is expected to go any moment now. He has been back and forth from these sort of states for about the past year so no one ever really knows if this is it or not with him. He has been quite the fighter.
Just one of many things that is eating at me tonight. Def

he had just had a heart attack three months ago and has been battling an opiate addiction for years now....
(he had muscular dystrophy)...
((thus the pain meds))...
in a way it was better to know it was coming and not a shock...

Definitely, we are waiting for my grandfather to pass, he has been fighting leukemia for a while now and has been on his deathbed for the past several months 
tonight's bowl is for everyone who has recently lost someone and everyone who is currently in the process of losing someone

sorry to hear everyone's problems it scares me to think whats gunna happen to me later in life.. my grandmaws brother is not doing good he had cancer on his bladder they took it out and couple weeks later he had 3 spots come up on his back and today they said it was for sure cancer so he can either take the treatment or hospice

You could say I have two dads. I have the one who abandoned us before I could really remember and didn't meet and build a relationship with until I was over 30. The other is the one my mom married and who has loved me like his real son ever since I was young kid. It's my biological dad that I'm losing right now.
Coincidence though is it's my "other" dad who has Muscular Dystrophy like yours did. His case isn't as bad as most but he does suffer a lot of pain so I know what you are talking about. Very sorry for you and your family's suffering with and loss of him Bro.

Neither was mine. Vietnam was no help and neither were the barrels of alcohol he tried to drown it with. I hate him and love him. I also have two little sisters there about the same age as my own kids that I love to death and am very worried about. It's a fucked up situation. That's about as far as I care to go into that though.

Me and al my friends drink a lot, there is a game of risk (IRL) about 20 feet away from me. I started in europe and then my friend in africa railed me in the ass. I'm the only one still out....:(

Damn! Happens.
I got that earlier today on the poker game I've been playing for 4 days. Started with $50.00 and hit $160+ numerous times but never $170.00. Finally down to $6.00 and some change. lol Think I'm gonna go throw it away in nickel slots and go to sleep. If I hit the $1,000.00 spin I'll let ya know. Hold your breathe and wait up for it. first though. lol G'nite all.

Of course. It was all in fun anyway. I got my moneys worth in the hours of playing. Got a little exciting a few times. I love poker but I just can't get into unless at least a little money is involved.
