im in a bad situation too. but without dependants.
it'll pull through. just think long term even when your living short.
good luck finding a job.
also mention to every person you know that could help that you are looking for work.
i can't stress enough how bad it is to shut down and keep to yourself when your broke.
you aren't gonna make any flow staying alone.
also even though especially tempting in these times stay away from the drink. try to only drink when your happy.

Dude. Sorry to hear this.
Do not let the situation cripple you. It's too easy to look at the mess you're in and do nothing. That'll kill you for sure.
First up you can call your town or county trustees office and tell them the situation. Many times they can help you with some cash but it's usually a one-time deal. Also talk to area churches. I don't know what your opinion on religion is but usually, they will want to meet you, and then, they will go pay the electric bill.
That may help with your immediate problems and give you a bit of breathing room.
Then I'd plan on driving, walking.... whatever you gotta do, to every single business in town and ask to apply for a job.
Consider creating your own job. For instance, go to local businesses and offer to clean their offices. Most cleaning services charge $15-20 per man hour of cleaning. You can start a business like this with the crap you already have under your sink for cleaning your own house.
Banks with foreclosed properties often need handymen to do odd jobs to get the properties ready to sell... call every bank that offers mortgages, and ask if they can keep you in mind.

Wow guys thanks for all the support and help, I didnt expect this.
Well I spoke to my boss and he said that that job is definately going to to hit any minute now. They are just waiting for the bank to approve the loan on the house. Supposedly it should happen because this particular house has been completely paid off and thus easier to get a loan. Hopefully if that happens I can ask for some money upfront.
Me and my lady have been sharing one car for the last few months so that makes things a bit harder.
I think I now know what I have to do to survive....
Anyways Christmas was cool, I was able to hustle a few bucks to get a present for the lady and daughter, no one else though. Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
