a laser security system works on a continuous beam of light.
if the beam is broken the alarm triggers.
just cuz ur invis doesnt mean u dont have mass
so ur molecules block the laser beam
to trigger it

to be invisible ud either have to bend the light around u like jessica alba, so it doesn't hit u at all, or reflect just the right wavelengths to match the exact image of what's behind u so u appear invisible

if it reflected no light (in the visible spectrum), it would be invisible.
if it reflected all light (that is, all colors within the visible spectrum), it would be white.

i'm not sure i agree with the absorption part. an invisible object, though not able to be seen, would still have a mass; there is still something physical there.

but then again, thinking about glass makes me second guess myself.
given a large enough pane of glass, light could pass thru it freely.
glass has mass, but absorbs nor reflects light, and you could never tell it was there (unless something reflected off of it, but we'll assume it doesnt)

kind of interesting to think about
especially that this idea came from this sort of thread

there is no "black" wavelength, black absorbs all colors and doesn't reflect any.........why is a black hole black? cause it sucks everything up and no light escapes out of it, so it appears black
