 Growing weed hobo style

I have quite a few seeds stocked up, and I'm considering growing.
Here's my conditions though:
I'm heading over sea's in Jan/Feb
I have limited space
I don't wish to spend much/If any money
I'm considering just chucking a few seeds in a pot and placing it beside a window. I'm not after a killer plant, just a trial as my fist and only grow was cut short just after sprouting a few yrs back.
Do you guys think I'll run into too many issues with such a bum way to grow? Or will I at least get a little.
P.s. It's summer and my room gets pretty hot during the day

considering it's halfway through November already, that gives you roughly 2 months (is it Jan or Feb) before you move. Given that most strains require at least this much time just to flower, i don't know if your plan to grow is feasible.
