i just had my first attempt at a homemade cheesesteak sandwich. i was gonna take a picture, but it didn't last long enough after the first bite.
now i'm sure anybody from philly will be enraged, but whatever man. it was bomb.
got some onion, green bellpepper and mushrooms, sauteed in butter and some light seasoning, removed. put sliced beef ribeye and sauteed it. re-added veggies to heat back up, then covered it with velveeta (closest thing i had to cheez whiz) and put it on a... (french) roll. i know, i know. it started out strong, and the bread failed out. ALAS! it is only my first attempt, and now i know to get italian! the bread was just too soft and got too soggy from the beef grease that was soooo yummY!
next time i will take a picture for yall to drool over
maybe wednesday?
