 roommates and sharing rooms

so in my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apt, i share the big bedroom with my friend. we each pay $515/month and our other friend has the smaller bedroom to himself for $750/month. i pay my rent myself but my friend's parents have been paying his rent. they're cutting him off now (long story) and so we're trying to figure out what to do so he doesnt have to leave. right now the option we're looking at is bringing a 3rd person to share the room with us.
so what would you guys do?

Holy shit your rent is expensive! Get another roommate and your rent will be reasonable. I got a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment for 400/month. I even have my own room!

i live in a nice area, and i have a really well paying job / gf / friends / family here. its the price of living in southern california.

wow. i live in 2 floors of a three story house, we have 3 bedrooms (3.5 if you count a tiny ass room), 1 bathroom, huge kitchen, dining room, and living room. a giant backyard, and i split it with one roomate, $450/month each.
why can't his ass get a job like anybody else?

i don't need to grow mushrooms, i get them straight from the earth. but yeah it's not much of an issue i get a job, get another free months rent from my parents and then start paying my own shit.

Oh if you are already growing weed I would say just grow more. I just like growing mushrooms because the only way you are going to get caught growing is from your own stupidity, you dont have to worry about odor or excessive lighting bills

thing is we're planning on getting our medical cards so the grow will be legal, but they don't have medical psilocybin laws in california sadly.

thats one reason my parents wanted me to go to school in nrthern california. my brother and i both got excepted to sdsu and he really wanted to go, but rent for a single room there is like 700. which is gay, i decided to go to chico state and my rent for a big ass room is 275. i share a bathroom but i dgaf. i got alot more spending money for better things 
tell his ass to get a job. dont let him mooch...once a mooch always a mooch

we got a 4 bedroom, 3 full bathoom, dining room, kitchen, living room and a back deck with a nice back yard. and the house is in very nice condition. great location in atlanta too.
