The only problem I really have with California is gun control. You have to have a fixed magazine. How the fuck can you fight people if you have a fixed magazine???

Here if you own a pistol cops have the right to search your house without a court issuing a warrant.

Gun laws are way slack compared to Canada.

Also if you're caught with a unregistered firearm you can serve as much as 10 years in prison. :frown:

Here in Cali, you only need a permit for a gun if you carry it around concealed, otherwise - you're good to go.

I'd walk around strapped at all times if it wouldn't be like auto jail time, even if it's a registered firearm.

I know tons of people who have been arrested and served anywhere from 6months - 3years for having a registered fire arm consealed on them.

I'll take my chances running for my life instead of being prepared for a gun fight.

Not true.  Americans have more guns than any other western country, you also have more cops and more fucked laws than anyone else.

Two friends of mine who have come here from america are amazed by the lack of police presence here.  I can go for months without seeing a cop car on the road, you guys would be lucky to go an hour without seeing them.

Very much the case.

Some places being over populated with cops is a good thing.

Manhattan has such a low crime rate.

I'd rather see no cops and have nothing to worry about though... Doesn't australia have a lot of street gangs though?
