If it's "needed" (though I'm pretty sure only homosexuals feels "needs" with regards to looking at gay porn) then post it in OTD and link it.

You agreed to the policy of anything goes for text, but no shock pics.  I think that's a very fair compromise between Pub and OTD.

No one's going to get banned for being abrasive, but I prefer not to subject myself to the shock pics that OTD seems to enjoy.

I don't think anyone PM'd Dan, he's a mod so he gets the Moderator Notifications.  I'll admit I hit the whistle when I saw it, simply because last I knew, shock pics (specifically including cocks) had been agreed on as out of bounds.  It sounds like I wasn't the only one.

(I also said in my notification that I thought the image should be editting out, not send a banstick flying or anything.)

I don't have a weak stomache, I just don't feel the need to have gay porn posted all around here.

If this was allowed, it would set a precedent for derailing virtually any thread with gay porn. 

Then we'd have to start discussing what is and isn't appropriate use of gay porn. And to me, that just seems silly.

I think we can nip the issue in the bud by ruling that gay porn pics should not be allowed in any threads that don't clearly advertise their presence.  So there can be a Gay Jailbait thread (I'm sure you've got a nice collection of pics for that one, Andy), I have no problem with that. 

I just think that peppering gay porn throughout the forum is a good way to discourage members and piss off the founding mods.

I don't feel we need to be censored just to please those few who may be offended.
But like I said, I have no desire to use gay porn all over the place.
This was one rare moment where it was considered humorous, at least, by those who understand humor.
