a few years back I purchased an ounce of pressed stuff and made some cannabutter, which I eventually used in a chocolate chip cookie recipe

it was worth every penny, i really need to make another batch soon

I won't be posting any complete grow logs, I believe they are too incriminating.  I'll stick to a few bud and harvest pics each time.

Do you think there is much security concern with that? I'm not saying there necessarily isn't, just curious as to how you've come to this conclusion. If its too risky, maybe I should stop mine? I've never thought it to be much of a problem...

Well if the worst happened it couldn't help your case if you've listed the step by step progress of your grows.  I'm not even sure if it could be used as evidence but is it worth the risk???

Well, I don't think it could be used as evidence, beyond that someone who has used your IP address created it. The risk would be if someone saw it and then started investigating... The only real risk there would be if it was occurring on a local level in the first place, because otherwise there is far too many grow logs on far too many cultivation websites for some kind of large sweep to occur really... How much of a risk there is on a local level is kind of up in the air, but I don't know of anyone ever getting busted for a grow log... The only real risk is if an ISP was filtering traffic and producing reports to local law enforcement....

It is nice as far as a community standpoint is concerned to keep them, so they are there to learn from. I figure I'm keeping logs anyways, so I might as well put them up here for the collective, and its a small personal grow, so if someone wants to bust me for growing plants that never leave the place, then there really isn't enough freedom for this planet to be worth it anyways IMO. :lol:

they aren't gonna go after any small time guys. i remember on icmag (after overgrow) that one guy was showing something insane like 100 plants in a fucking backyard. he posted logs every year of his grows and never got caught.

Well yeah, if you've got personal information floating around, its completely understandable. I'm actually paranoid about some kind of ISP filter thing, but I think its just the fact that one will naturally be excessively concerned with the small traces that one does leave, and they'd have information from visiting seed-banks anyways, so leaving a grow log out there isn't going to be anything more.
