i cant say im a pro i still have much to learn, and thats why im also here. yet i have done grows.
well iv been grew with a 400watt and a 600 watt high pressure sodium light, i always used potting soil with perlite (for good draining). iv been using fox farm fertilizers for nutrients. i moved my grows out of my closet and into a grow room a fellow shroomite helped me build out of plastic piping and reflective white mylar plastic. and put 2 vents one in and one from the light out so the air circulates.
iv had with spider mites and fungus gnats, and am learning to prevent bugs instead of dealing with them.
i can also dry, trim and cure buds for smoking. along with making hash.

I'm all for having lax rules in this forum, but I wouldn't want to see it turn into some kind of scat/insult-fest. It's one thing to allow people to speak their minds freely without fear of being banned.. it's quite another to have some kind of gang mentality where anyone who challenges the 'norm' is beaten or flamed into submission by the mob.
I don't see why we have to delineate whether this is "The Pub" or "OTD"... it's not either. Let it become it's own forum where "pubbers" and "otders" can exist together and meets somewhere in the middle. There doesn't have to be some kind of bias one way or the other.
Actually I'm in favor of making this forum more like OTD circa shroomery year 2000-02. But most of you noobs would know nothing about that. The golden ages of Moe Howard, bivalve, and Smack31 and the beginning of the original Late Night Crew.
I say keep the rules laid back and open, allow flaming to a certain extent and fuck the haters 
But gay porn and scat is never cool or trendy.. fags.
