Oh yea OF will nuke the fuck out of little seedlings. I normally start them in something a little more neutral until the cotyledons start to look less pudgy and I have a few sets of true leaves, they have some reserves stored that will feed the plant all it needs for a little bit.

Thats how long I was trying to wait!
Did sprouts in solo cups of CoM Seed Starter mix + Happy frog
Waited til old leaves got wilty+taproot visible at the bottom of cup
Moved to 1.5gal of happy frog+ recycled house soil+ OF = RIP
ive been killing plants all year, it hurts my soul, i had way better luck in previous years

Just put them in normal ass soil, water when it gets dry every day or so, and put them in the window and they will start. That's how I started mine.
