I wrote a Firefox filter that automatically blocks out numonk's annoying "~Monk" sig from his posts.

can you write a filter that removes coasters new annoying habit of putting multiple letters on the end of words? like "thisssssssss"? Probably a bit trickier then editing out a constant name, but still, i have to ask

I actually considered doing that!
I don't think that would be all that difficult.
I would love to have it convert his writing style to a more proper format.

macro programs could edit it on his end
instances of 3 or more T's(for example) = 1T.
we just need someone who knows him in real life to plant a program on his computer.

what are you coding these filters in, java? Never really touched that side of firefox, it'd be interesting to work on my own.
