Okay, well if anyone that's serious chimes in, I have a question.
How good is the spring run compared to the fall run?

Well CV has left the thread.
Don't have steelhead around here. But big blue cats, and strippers are running hard now in these parts.

Walleye are starting to pick up big time here, by this weekend I think they'll be pretty much in full swing.
I was at the Chagrin River off of Erie today, steelies were popping their heads up all over. They just weren't biting yet, the water's flowing too fast and it's still a little too cold. It's still too cold for walleyes up there too.
In another week or so the walleyes and steelies will be coming in pretty big time up there, I hope I can make it back up there next weekend.
I forgot how much I love fishing, I can't get enough of it, I've been going out almost every day.

Spring run doesnt compare to fall run. Still great time and some good fish.
Fall is where its at though. Thats when u reel in the record breakers! I have never fished the rivers in fall! Id love to!
I am heading up to on lake Ontario in May to fish for steelys and hopefully a couple browns! Havent been in about five years!

Caught a walleye today, mines the bigger one.

They're definitely in now, other people were there taking the better spots, I'm gonna try and get there earlier tomorrow and hopefully limit out.

Pickles trout season started in my part of PA 2 weeks ago and its been killer. I have spent a ton of time out and have close to 70 fish so far. Its amazing how much better it is this year then the last few! I will be up north next week to hit a few hard to reach streams in search of another wall mount. Biggest I got on the wall is 24 inchs and shes a beauty!

I'm close to PA, I've never been steelhead fishing there but I hear there's a decent amount of good rivers/streams up in the NW.

PA licenses are like $70 for people from out of state, and I think you still have to get a trout stamp in PA too. I'm just gonna stick with my state, there's a lot of good fishing to be done here.
If licenses weren't so expensive I'd do it up.

Yeah they are expensive here, no trout stamp needed though
I know in-state licenses are 35$

Cool, I'd rather not ever be anywhere around you, I wouldn't want you to rip me off and use my money for heroin, like you did to paw.
There's plenty of fish here, just in case you can't tell I've been killing the walleye.
