Im interested to know what the average person pays for weed and mush where you live.
This is Average prices. Some people pay a lil more or less. But on average what someone will pay...
Manitoba:
Weed:
high end : $40-8th, $200 oz,
mids : $30-8th, $150-oz,
Mush:
$25-8th, $100oz,

High end, 25 across the board up to the O. No more than 2000 for a pound of High grade.
Mid grade 20 an 8th etc. 1500 a P.

the dispensary i go to has like 4 different levels of bud and hash. member prices are:
$25 8th bottom shelf
$35 8th top shelf
$45 8th bomb/verde shelf
$55 8th platinum shelf
bottom shelf ounces for $150-$175, top shelf for $220, and $280 for bomb shelf ounces.
BHO is sold by half grams that can go for anywhere from $15-$30 a half gram, so $30-$60 for grams. their most expensive stuff is dewaxed in a cryogenic freezer.
solventless can go for around the same prices.

That fact that you guys have the options from eighths to pounds is amazing to me, my area sucks bad but fuck it, I keep to myself and am self reliant but it would be fucking nice to be able to just go and grab some whenever.

My chick gets 1/8ths of high qual bud for 25 but that's friend price.
I sell 1/8ths of mush for 25, 1/4s for 50, 1/2s for 80, ozs for 150.
If you buy 3ozs or more it drops to 120 an oz.

Weed:
High Grade - $30/g all the way up.
Mids - $15-20/g all the way up.
Brick - $100-$150/oz. $1000-$1500/lb
Cubensis:
Any potency (never high potency, like PE or anything.) - $50 per 1/8th, $90 per 1/4 oz, 350/oz.
But if I want some, I grow high potency PE and Maz isolates and they cost me a whopping $1/oz, sometimes less if I get coir in bulker than bulk, family get them for free, and if any friends need to pay the bills I let 'em go for 90/oz, 300 a qp, but I rarely sell anything.

We really dont have any high quality herbs here.
You can find it but its rare and its $130 for a 1/4
We have 2 basic varieties here shitty brick weed and decent brick weed.
shitty brick = $25 for 1/4 - $80 an oz
decent brick = $35-40 for 1/4 - $130 an oz

i wil have to disagree agree. im an avid mush grower and i assure you PE if grown correctly will always be a bit stronger in potency and in speed of growing. yes, it is a cube and all cubes are the same, but an 1/8th of PE will blow an 1/8th of treasure coast or B+ out of the water.
shit brick weed here is 45.00 an oz and 25.00 a 1/2. its easy as fuck to find too...

I've grown and hunted many different kinds of cubes and I can promise you that each 'strain' has their own traits. But to claim that one is 'more potent' than another is just your personal preference for that particular strain and nothing more. Their potency (amount of active chemicals) is the same from cube to cube. Their effects, however, will vary drastically from field to field within the same county.

there are 100s of people who will argue that. a cube is a cube is a cube... i get that.
thc is thc is thc, but im sure there are some that will argue that each strain offers different effects. i know plants can produce different levels of thc which will cause some batches to be stronger than others, but at the end of the day, its still just thc.
PE, however, is a mutant mushroom that does give the trippee stronger effects. ive grown PE 4 times and have had over 2 dozen people tell me that the PE i had were stronger than any other batch.
i can personally tell you that ive tried at least 10 different strains and from all, PE had the better effects.

Yup. PE has always given me more of a visual trip and treasure coast brings the yufie.
I actually have TC for the show so even if this doesn't work out, mdma, the TC will be fun enough.

Wow Im charging way too little. My shit is really good and I only charge 20/8th.
Im practically giving away shrooms too at $100/oz. Still cant get rid of them anymore though.

You can get B+ that are more visual and less euphoric, or mexican that are more euphoric and less visual. The variety is a name and a name only. Ive isolated many varieties from the same culture and each iso gave a different effect and had different potencies. I'm still a n00b when it comes to weed but Ive studied/grown cubensis for a long time...a cube is a cube...except for PE...it does tend to have a slightly stronger effect for some. Its a mutated variety though, so imo it doesn't count.

i think 100 is fair. its also all profit usually after the first oz you sell. only time i jew is when its on smaller amounts. 25 an 1/8th gives me 200.00 an oz, but if you want to bu ya little more than hell yeah im gonna cut you a deal. of course i havnt done this for awhile. too big of a risk.
thats the thing. people dont realize that PE is a mutant strain. i dont care what anyone says, PE if grown correctly will be stronger than any other cube strain.

that prob lands on the person who grew it and how. someone mentioned something about the substrate. this has a lot to do with the potency as well.
i found that using WBS really lets the myc grow nice and strong and healthy.

It's a matter of finding good genes and then isolate and/or clone to know you'll get high potency every harvest, MS is always a crapshoot.

so if a cube is a cube. then why do different strains look different. and why is B+ know for being bigger mushrooms while mexicana are smaller. albino is whiter, penis envy looks like a dick.... does this alone not prove that different strain are different ?

Yep. When I used to buy spores, I would always let the vendors choose which variety they sent me because it was cheaper that way, and since its MS it doesn't matter what variety it is. I seriously doubt they're even what they say they are, its all just marketing.

Honestly, you'd have to have top genetics from different strains and do some tests because every strain surely can result from fairly bunk to pretty potent genes from spore to spore.

PE and albinos are exceptions to the rule because they're mutant strains...Ive grown big and small B+. P. Mexicana isnt cubensis, so it doesn't apply either but there is a cubensis mexican variety, that's what I thought you were talking about earlier.

Ive had isolates from the same culture that gave me different effects. All Im saying is it doesn't matter what they're labeled as, you can get really good golden teachers or shitty ones...you can get puerto rican thats a total mindfuck or puerto rican that doesnt give any visuals at all but extreme euphoria. Like someone said earlier, multispore is a total crapshoot.

cause of genes P-O and how the mushroom is grown cause with kickass genes and kickass habitat you'll get mindfucking mushrooms ,but with shitty genes you'll get shitty mushrooms thats why people use isolates instead of multispore syringes. well i'll compare it to humans were all homosapiens right ,but we don't all look the same because of the genes we were given at birth by our parents will judge what we look like if where white, black, asian, etc. or short or tall. Thats just like mushroom two spores come together( basically get busy) and the genes they share will be put into work making mycelium and later on mushrooms. Now in a multispore multiple spores get busy and make multiple variations of genes which is a crap shoot of different potency's and sizes.

My only input on the Cube strains debate is that I haven't noticed a potency difference between substrates, (never tried hpoo though.) but I feel strongly about the PE being stronger than average.
And my reasoning isn't just because PE is "supposed to be better" PE is notorious for slow colonizing/fruiting times, and after testing the theory in this thread that PrimalSoup started, with multiple isolates, I believe the main reason PE is more-often-than-not higher than average potency is because of the extremely slow colonization, digesting the sub all the way through and much more efficiently than faster growing mycelium.
But anyway, weak shrooms are priced high in my area.

In my experiments there's been no difference between BRF cakes, WBS, or wheat berries. Yield yes, but potency not a bit. Never tried straw/poo so I can't comment on that.

I do live in Cali....Prices have consistently gone down in my area over the 7 years I've been smoking "regularly" , there's so much herb out there it's driven the price down considerably. And as far as concentrates go...for oil/wax/glass, $20 a gram seems standard. Sometimes deals will be found for $15, and sometimes $25 to $30 if it's some particularly fire stuff. Edibles...$5 to $10 for a couple cookies/brownies, usually mild to moderately potent, enough to do the trick but not put me into a coma  .
