9 plants total under 4k watts. the plants in the pics are my 5 afghan haze. there are 4 plants about 8" shorter on the other side of the afghans.

I was looking at one of those, but my garden is way smaller than yours lol.  I still spend around 1-1.5 hours per plant trimming though.  Worst part of the entire cycle, I absolutely dread having to harvest.

my buddy bought htg's version of the spin pro.  I'm hoping he'll let me use it when the time comes. His only complaint with it was having to give the trimmed buds a quick manicure before they hit the jars.

See, that confirms my suspicions too.  From all the videos I've seen it does a good job at getting most of the spear leaves, but there was still too much foliage for my own personal liking on it.  Plus I go either way on having to chunk up all of your buds.  Personally I like trying to preserve the larger buds, just a personal preference really.  Still though, I watched a guy go through three small plants in what would have been 10 mins worth of work if he wasn't talking and staying focused.  If I have to spend just another hour or so trimming up the rest before they hit the curing jars, I'd say that's money well spent.  Anything to avoid the hours of mind numbing labor is a blessing.

its a 21 minute video, but like I said the guy rambles a bit and takes time to show off some stuff, the actual amount of work is probably close to 10.  His plants are also tiny that he's harvesting.  Like I said, I wouldn't think this would be an ideal solution for your grow.  I think with your plants you'd be looking at like maybe 30-40 minutes per plant with this.  If you spent the money on fan powered table you could probably cut that time in half if not more.

I really do like the idea of these trim machines, and I can see how they would be needed in a commercial operation where you don't have an army of trimmers at hand.  I really want to try one, but I don't know if I'm willing to drop 400 dollars on one to do so.

i could only find 2 sizes on the spin pro site....they ran around 200 and 600.

found 2 other manual trimmers on amazon they were both under 200.....they did not look that great though.

This video is pure fucking gold.  I love the porn music that comes out of nowhere in the middle lol.

Nonetheless that's a pretty cool machine!  I don't think I would be too big of a fan of the vacuum running constantly, but it solves the problem of the fan blade style machines not being all that accurate :wink:

but it begs the question of how good the trim would be for hash?  One of the more common complaints I've seen about the blade type machines is that they mutilate the trim make it hard to pull quality hash from them.  Still, I'm going to investigate this one a little more closely, if it's truly affordable I'd guinea pig it :smile:

First off, I don't think this thing is being made any more?  I can't find anyone who stocks it.  Secondly, it's super freaking expensive lol  442 before any type of shipping or tax if that site above had it in stock.  I'll keep digging, but it doesn't look like this took off or is being produced any longer.  A quick glance on ebay isn't turning anything up either.

yah, really depends on how you price and market your product honestly.  My perceived value of the product was way off what was being asked for it; at least at the one source I found which still had a price.  Oh well, if I'm able to find one for cheap somewhere I'd definitely give it a test run :smile:

I'll be harvesting the 4 other plants that aren't visible in the photos in about 10-14 days.

i've got 2 NYPD'S, 1 Fruity Chronic Juice, and 1 Diesel. All are 100% milky. They should be ambered up in 2 weeks or less.

I'll toss up some pics when i begin to chop.

I'm getting soooo freaking anxious. :justcantwait:

trimming these plants is absolutely ridiculous. i have never hated harvesting this much......but damn it's gonna be worth it.

spent 6hrs behind the scissors today.......man i can't wait to be finished. 2 more plants to go!

snapped a few pics of what i have hangin so far. my apologies for the poor picture quality, my crappy cell phone is the only way i can up load photos atm.



the first 2 plants filled the racks. 



5 plants hangin from the ceiling.  2 more to go......can't wait for the weigh in.

mushrooms let off c02, and love ambient lighting from grow rooms. not sure what they let out, but whenever i grow any kind of mush i leave my terrarium in my grow tent. seems to be a happy relationship.
