He just got ww seeds and a tent and a 400 watt hps.
He still needs nutrients,soil,buckets,air tubes to run heat and old air out,
thinkin about 4-6 plants at a time med to large size
He's ganna need a cheap setup for seed/clones, maybe 2 stacked tubs w/ some led lights?

What size is your tent?
I would go w/ foxfarm soil if you have the funds, if not get hardware store soil (NOT time release), some perlite and some vermiculite. Mix at 60%soil, 30% perlite, 10% verm.
if you want cheap, led's are not for you. Make a diy cloner, or buy a cloning tray (also hardware store) and make a dome for it. Put a few cfl's up, clones dont need that much light to root.
You mentioned you need ducting, so do you have an air-cooled reflector? Do you have a fan, and will you be using a carbon filter?
As for nutes, if you have the money, go w/ foxfarm 3 part water soluable. If not, General Hydroponics MaxiGrow+MaxiBloom worked well for me. I also recomend using molases/liquid karma/other additives, but this is not from my own expirience.

well im about to start a grow with white widow seeds and no clue what to start them in, how long they should be where, and what not.
I was planning on getting 2 large storage tubs and flippin 1 on top of the other throw some cfl's in there. should be suitable for seedlings and clones right?
ve got a 400 watt hps and mh bulb w/ a cool tube, 400 balast.

yes pasteurizing(not baking) is an option and recommended if you are using outdoor soil.
